Job Title: Early Childhood Activity and Learning Coordinator

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Group Leader responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care services to children across various kindergartens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teaching and learning programs across multiple kindergartens in collaboration with the Kindergarten Coordinator.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with service policies, funding requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information in line with the service's privacy policy.
  • Stay current with trends and issues in early childhood services and maintain professional networks.
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of a nominated supervisor, ensuring compliance with the Education and Care Services Act and Regulations.
  • Act decisively on urgent matters to ensure the service meets required standards.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Working with Children Check (employee status)
  • First Aid Certificate for emergency responses in education and care settings
  • Proven experience working with children in an education or care environment
