In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building our sustainability team, working closely with internal and external clients to manage and report sustainability data.

This includes carbon accounting, financial reporting, and sustainability reporting. You will have expertise in data analysis, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.

We are looking for someone with a tertiary degree in a relevant discipline, such as sustainability, environmental science, business, finance, or accounting. Your knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks like GRI and SASB will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare environmental reports and ESG disclosures. Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting standards, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN Global Compact, GHG Protocol, international and IFRS general sustainability-related disclosures, is also necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement assessment procedures for reporting sustainability, ensuring accuracy and validity of data.
  • Supervise and develop a team to collect, examine, and interpret data on sustainability to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform carbon accounting assignments for clients and assist in developing a business line providing these and related services.
