Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to design, operate, and secure our enterprise and cloud networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting mission-critical networks, with a strong background in TCP/IP, routing, and network security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable enterprise and cloud networking infrastructure. This includes configuring and managing routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and transport networks.

The role also involves administering core network services such as DHCP, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, SD-WAN, etc. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to deploy and manage Arista, Fortinet, and other network devices.

The Senior Network Administrator will work closely with network architects to scale and evolve the terrestrial and cloud network that connects ground stations, user segments, and the core. They will also collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver a resilient, future-ready network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable enterprise and cloud networking infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and transport networks.
  • Administer core network services such as DHCP, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, SD-WAN, etc.
  • Deploy and manage Arista, Fortinet, and other network devices.
  • Work closely with network architects to scale and evolve the terrestrial and cloud network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver a resilient, future-ready network.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical networks.
  • Deep protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, spanning-tree.
  • Proven experience with enterprise-grade networking devices (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, or equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure, VPNs, Security Groups).
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and performance monitoring platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate in time-sensitive environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
