Artificial Intelligence Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled lecturer to join our university's artificial intelligence department.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an academic with expertise in AI and cybersecurity to contribute to the development of innovative research and teaching programs.

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AI, cybersecurity, and related fields;
  • Conduct research and develop scholarly publications in AI and cybersecurity;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders;
  • Mentor and supervise students on research projects and thesis/dissertations;

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of quality research and publications, excellent teaching skills, and experience working in the tertiary sector. A proven ability to teach in areas of staff shortage, including security operations and vulnerability analysis, network management, enterprise security management, digital forensics, cyber law, data privacy, and cyber-physical systems, is essential.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be committed to maintaining high standards of student learning and professional conduct.

A doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. The candidate should have relevant industry experience and a strong publication record.
