Seeking a Medical Officer to deliver medical services including aviation-based services such as fitness to fly assessments, medicals and aircrew clinical health management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality medical care in a modern facility located at RAAF Base Darwin.
  • Provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit Commanding Officer, Joint Health Command Health Centre Manager and Commanders of units.
  • May be required to provide services in either an outpatient setting or as inpatient care within a hospital or medical centre.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
  • FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration.
  • Minimum 2 years' full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years.
  • Australian Citizen for Baseline Security Clearance requirements.
  • Basic military aviation medicine course or equivalent.
