Registered Nurse - Home Care Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes.
As a Home Care Specialist, your primary focus will be on administering medications and treatments, performing IV cannulation and injections, and monitoring vital signs and observations.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform IV cannulation, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections as needed.
- Conduct blood sample collections and monitor ECGs and vital signs.
You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience with IV cannulation, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections.
- A current CPR certificate.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
