
Senior Inventory Management Specialist

The Logistics Officer is crucial to our organization's success, responsible for efficient execution of aircraft stores procedures and support services.
Responsibilities:- Manage receipt, issue, storage, and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools, and non-aircraft items efficiently.
- Work on a flexible roster and be available on standby as required.
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness and optimize daily operations for improved efficiency.
- Implement and maintain stores in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and security of the store environment.
- Monitor shelf life items and 'Services in Store' processes for effective management.
- Conduct stock takes as necessary to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Guarantee adequate protection for stored items and maintenance of store security protocols.
- Facilitate efficient movement and processing of parts and tooling within the stores system and items awaiting processing.
- Optimize use of available storage space and accurate stock locations for improved workflow.
- Identify and propose opportunities for cost-effective improvements to methods and procedures.
- Ensure safety by identifying hazards and taking appropriate actions, reporting items requiring action outside the area of responsibility to the supervisor.
- Aircraft component knowledge is advantageous.
- Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft applications skills are essential.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Applicants must be able to obtain an ASIC card, Air Side Driver's license, Dangerous Goods License, and Fork Lift License.
