We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects in the oil & gas, manufacturing, infrastructure, and heavy industry sectors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in pressure equipment, rotating equipment, or tanks. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team, working with a diverse range of clients on brownfields projects and new builds. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver project requirements according to agreed schedules consistent with Verbrec quality standards.
  • Maintain mechanical engineering standards across all projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
  • Recommend improvements to engineering systems and processes.
  • Continuously develop industry networks and contacts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering.
  • CPEng certification.
  • Diverse range of mechanical engineering skills, including pressure equipment, rotating equipment or tanks.
  • Experience carrying out mechanical engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction stage.
  • Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar manufacturing industries.
  • Experience using AutoPIPE, PV Elite or other design programs.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
