Job Description:

AECOM's Perth Geosciences Team requires a dedicated and experienced Hydrogeologist to support our projects. This position will enable you to advance your career in groundwater management and develop skills in hydrogeological assessments, construction dewatering, and groundwater monitoring.

In this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including planners, designers, engineers, scientists, consultants, and project managers. Together, we strive to create sustainable and equitable outcomes for our clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing hydrogeological field tasks efficiently and accurately using standard methods and procedures.
  • Interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and comparing findings to relevant studies and regulations.
  • Participating in project teams, attending meetings, and reporting on progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Geosciences, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the environmental, mining, or groundwater sector.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong staff coordination and communication skills.
  • Experience with groundwater resources, hydrogeological assessments, construction dewatering, and groundwater monitoring.
