Stadium Coordinator Role Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and operation of programs at our venues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise occupancy of existing programs through effective marketing and community outreach initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to introduce new community groups into the facility, identifying programming needs within the local community.
  • Organise, implement, and manage all sporting competitions, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Meet the goals and targets set out in the annual business plan for program coordination, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
  • Activate all spaces within the venue to ensure off-peak times have maximum activation, increasing revenue and enhancing customer experience.
  • Implement cost-effective operations of programs within legislative guidelines and centre policies, ensuring compliance and minimising risks.
  • Maintain all program equipment in safe working order, conducting regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Manage a team of staff within the Duty Manager & Programs Department, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.
  • Collaborate with contract coaches and referees to optimise programs and competitions, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid Working With Children Check (or equivalent).
  • A current National Police Check.
  • A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
  • A current CPR Certificate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of leisure-based programs and their benefits to the community.
  • Understanding of local council plans to meet the needs of the community.
  • Familiarity with Sports TG or similar platforms.
