Family-Focused GP for Locum Position in Rural Queensland

**Job Opportunity:**

A solo general practitioner is sought for a rewarding locum position in Middlemount, QLD. This opportunity allows you to work independently while being supported by a team of staff.

Practice Details:

  • This is a solo practice with the support of receptionists, a Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse.
  • Ambulance services are available in town, and hospitals are located approximately an hour away.

The Work:

  • This practice has a family-oriented approach with a slow pace.
  • You will be visiting farmers, mine workers and young families as part of your daily routine.
  • Your patient load will be around 3-4 patients per hour.
  • The clinic closes for lunch, and after-hours calls are minimal.
  • While you must hold the phone, home visits are not required.

Requirements:

  • To be considered, you must be a vocationally registered General Practitioner with AHPRA.
  • We are looking for someone who is interested in Occupational Health and willing to work occasional shifts at a Rockhampton clinic.
