Key Job Responsibilities

The Digital Sales Lead will be a pivotal member of our sales team, leveraging advanced technical knowledge and expertise to drive digital sales activities. This role encompasses the entire sales process, with a focus on digital products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical/digital resource for our sales team, providing deep insights into the workings, applications, and benefits of our digital products and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations, showcasing how our digital products and solutions address the specific needs and challenges of our clients.
  • Document client requirements and provide technical guidance to inform digital sales strategy and proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to tailor solutions that meet the unique digital needs of each client.
  • Support the assessment of standard, customised, and partnership alternatives for new digital product offerings.
  • Evaluate market trends and customer behavior to maintain a competitive edge, conducting thorough assessments of sales volume and market potential to inform the development of comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Analyse sales and market data to generate actionable insights, empowering frontline sales to formulate strategic plans that capitalise on market opportunities and drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital sales or sales engineering roles is essential.
  • A solid technical background in digital technologies, platforms, and tools is necessary.
  • Candidates should demonstrate leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, drive results, and foster a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales, account management, or customer success, is important.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans and initiatives is valuable.
