Technical Lead for Mission-Critical Solutions

As a key member of our Operations Engineering team, you will provide technical leadership to a highly specialized group of engineers responsible for delivering mission-critical communication solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing operational maturity and ensuring seamless service delivery.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and implement systems consistent with customer and regulatory requirements. This includes designing, evaluating, and modifying systems to meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership across a broad range of technologies, including LAN/WAN switching and routing, P25 Voice Networks, Paging Networks, Microwave Networks, and other Subsystems. Additionally, you will oversee the operational health, security, and maintenance of mission-critical public safety systems.

Requirements for this role include tertiary qualifications in Electronics/Computer Systems Engineering or similar, extensive industry experience considered as an alternative. ITIL v4 certification is also required, along with experience in telecommunications, land mobile radio, microwave transmission networks, and CISCO/Juniper networking certifications. Knowledge in SQL and Tableau reporting is desirable.

  • System Architecture and Design: Develops and modifies system architecture and design consistent with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provides technical leadership across a broad range of technologies.
  • Operational Health and Security: Oversees the operational health, security, and maintenance of mission-critical public safety systems.
  • Day-to-Day Operational Priorities: Manages day-to-day operational priorities and activities of the operations engineering team.
