Job Title: Asset Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee a portfolio of properties, ensuring their optimal performance and value.

A key aspect of this position is developing and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants. This involves effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

As an asset manager, you will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance work orders, conducting rent reviews, and managing lease renewals/lease negotiations.

Additionally, you will need to resolve escalated issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Minimising and maintaining rental arrears for the portfolio is also a critical aspect of this role.

When necessary, you will prepare for and attend Tribunal hearings as required.

Conducting outgoing and periodic inspections will also be part of your duties.

Requirements:

  • A background in property management is essential
  • Current NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation and a highly professional attitude
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolutions skills
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Property Tree, Agent Box, and Dropbox
  • Proactive, problem-solving nature and eagerness to learn new things
