Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Product Specialist to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and continued specialist support of Epiroc automation and technology products throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repairs of Epiroc automation and technology systems.
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation, including technical reports and test plans.
  • Providing technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborating with factory engineers to improve automation and technology products.
  • Developing comprehensive knowledge on the relationship between parameters and functionalities within machine control systems.
  • Continually developing own knowledge and expertise.
  • Understanding and complying with OH&S policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent overall troubleshooting skills, including control systems, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and technology aspects of mining equipment.
  • Meticulous and methodical execution, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualification/s.
  • Strong electrical, hydraulic, and/or mechanical background.
  • Experience with IT networking protocols, administration, monitoring, and support.
  • Commitment to providing quality customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to various roster arrangements.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
