Food and Beverage Attendant

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Food and Beverage Attendant on a full-time basis at Brisbane Airport.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual who can explain menus to guests, assist with special dietary needs or preferences, and recommend beverages.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities by upselling items, ensuring accuracy while ordering and delivering food and beverage orders, and using Micros to place orders.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, maintaining standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation, and promoting a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practices.

Requirements:

  • A high standard of grooming and presentation is essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have a friendly, customer-focused attitude, initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with customers, and a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • They will also need to be confident in liaising with various internal and external clients, have a self-motivated approach to work, and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
