Primary Casual Learning Support Specialist

The role of a Learning Assistant is to provide support to students in their learning growth. This position works closely with classroom teachers to implement the curriculum and school programs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans.
- Provide individualized support to students as needed.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- A minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Education Support or Children Services, together with First Aid and WWCC certifications are necessary for this role.
Professional Attributes:
- Actively contribute to the team culture by displaying humility, a desire for excellence, self-awareness, and collaboration.
- Demonstrate strong communication, professional, and interpersonal skills when working with teachers, students, and colleagues.
- Participate in the understanding and practical application of the College's Christian philosophy of education through ongoing professional development.
This casual on-call position offers flexibility and autonomy while allowing you to make a meaningful contribution to the educational experience of our students.
