Job Title: Trade Painter

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Trade Painter to join our team at FINE BRUSH COATING PTY LTD. As a Trade Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and varnishes to decorate surfaces, using different brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply paint and varnishes to decorate surfaces, using different brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Apply all types of paints, including acrylic, oil-based, weather shield, water-based, and glossy paints.
  • Apply a final coat of paint as required.
  • Secure the painting area from damage by laying drop sheets, plastic sheets, and masking tape.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing old paint and wallpaper.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications (AQF Certificate III in painting and decorating) and 2 years of practical experience.
  • Competitive salary package of $74K plus Superannuation.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
  • Ability to work 38 hours/week, with flexibility to work odd hours, weekends, and early mornings/late nights.
  • Current driving licence and vehicle.
