Cyber Defence and Security Monitoring Role

This is an exciting opportunity to support the secure delivery of mobility and cloud-based solutions by applying your skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response within a dynamic, high-security environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to security threats using threat intelligence and incident response playbooks. They will also review system security controls, propose improvements, and guide implementation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse security threats using advanced threat intelligence and incident response techniques
  • Review and enhance system security controls to prevent cyber-attacks
  • Perform threat-driven security analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks
  • Develop procedures to support SOC monitoring and analysis activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Security Analyst in a SOC environment
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security or SaaS security tools
  • Experience using NDR and SOAR platforms to manage security threats
  • Strong incident response capabilities in secure environments
