Cyber Security Risk Advisory Role

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the identification and mitigation of potential security risks for a Federal Government client. As a Cyber Security Risk Advisor, you will play a pivotal part in helping our client navigate the complexities of information security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive security audits for large organisations or multiple customer organisations at an Internal and Statutory Audit level 6.
  • Apply risk and information security frameworks, policies, and standards, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Information Security Manual and international standards (ISO 27001/2).
  • Conduct thorough security threat and risk assessments and develop security accreditation artefacts.
  • Analyse complex ICT environments and stay up-to-date with global Cyber Security trends, attack vectors, and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in security audit, risk management, and information security is essential.
  • A strong understanding of security frameworks, policies, and standards is required.
  • The ability to analyse complex systems and identify security vulnerabilities is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills are necessary for success in this role.
