Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

You have knowledge and experience spanning both development and architecture, including data engineering, modelling, and cloud architecture. Together, we'll build tomorrow's bank today, using world-leading engineering, technology, and innovation.

About the Role

This role is part of the Reporting and Insights Crew within Financial Crimes domain, where we design and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that serve data and analytical use-cases.

We're seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the direction of our data and analytics cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative technology solutions to enable us to build tomorrow's bank today.
  • Lead engineers in implementing complex technical solutions in a cloud-based environment.
  • Ensure appropriate cyber security controls are implemented and provide technical assistance to engineers in the team.
  • Mentor and coach other Engineers.

You'll possess hands-on technical experience working in a public cloud environment ideally using AWS, good knowledge about Quantexa architecture and core ETL and scoring concepts, and experience in developing and optimising data integration workflows.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to design solutions to meet business requirements and build ETL and scoring pipelines.
  • Proficient in Entity resolution and scoring concepts.
  • Must have one Quantexa certification (Data engineering/Scoring).
  • Good to have experience in upgrading Quantexa application.
  • Data processing framework using EMR and Spark Scala.
  • Fluent in all aspects of modern Software Development Lifecycle.
