Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Team Leader to drive the development and deployment of high-performance data pipelines and architectures.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data visualization. They should also possess advanced skills in SQL, Python, AWS (Athena, Redshift, Glue), and experience with Power BI and SAP (preferred).

The successful candidate will lead and mentor a data engineering team to drive continuous improvement and support business objectives. They will design and deploy high-performance data pipelines and architectures to meet business needs and enhance platform scalability.

The job requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues, support data needs, and drive platform innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Data Engineering Expertise

  • Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, AWS (Athena, Redshift, Glue), and experience with Power BI and SAP (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of data architecture and modeling best practices for scalability and security.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and design thinking principles.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Ability to lead and mentor a data engineering team.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to resolve technical issues, support data needs, and drive platform innovation.
  • Effective communication and project management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, IT, or a related field.
