Job Title: Water Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Water Treatment Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about public health and the environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in water treatment operations and maintenance, with a strong understanding of High Complexity Water Treatment Plant processes. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Operate and maintain water treatment plants, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and provide support and guidance as needed.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, chemistry) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Physical fitness and ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
