Empowering Mental Health Workers

Join a dynamic team of educators passionate about delivering valuable, job-ready qualifications and vocational short courses. As a Trainer & Assessor for genU Training, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that empower the next generation of mental health workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training sessions online, in-person, or blended to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Support and mentor learners from various backgrounds to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Facilitate workplace placements and assess competency to guarantee learners acquire essential skills.
  • Champion recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices throughout the organisation.
  • Evaluate learner competencies to ensure skill development and knowledge retention.
  • Contribute to ASQA compliance and continuous improvement processes to maintain high-quality services.
  • Make a positive contribution to the training team and organisational goals.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Cert IV or higher in Mental Health).
  • Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Industry experience and a genuine passion for education.
  • Strong communication skills and cultural awareness.
  • A current valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain one.
