Freight Coordinator

The Freight Manager position is a key role in our operations, responsible for overseeing Inbound/Outbound logistics across multiple sites.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics professional to manage freight operations and ensure smooth delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and organize freight allocation for all deliveries and scrap collections, adhering to customer delivery windows.
- Respond to customer queries related to freight and delivery, providing timely and accurate information.
- Communicate effectively with drivers during the day to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to regulations.
- Manage delivery/collection paperwork, verifying accurate map references and site conditions.
- Conduct pre-start checks with drivers, addressing damages/issues with Operations Management.
About You:
- Prior experience in Logistics/Warehouse/Operations roles is essential.
- A background in Manufacturing or Distribution is highly valued.
- Advanced Excel skills are necessary for data analysis and reporting.
- A MR License and Forklift License are desirable qualifications.
Candidates must hold a valid QLD Licence.
