Disability Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking passionate and reliable support workers to join our team and make a genuine difference in the lives of others.

  • Support individuals with disabilities with their daily living tasks, including personal care, showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist clients with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and mobility assistance.
  • Facilitate community access, social outings, and recreational activities for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and incident reports.
  • Support individuals in building life skills, independence, and achieving their goals.
  • Ensure all services are delivered with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a support worker (preferred).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (as per government guidelines).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
