Job Title: Project Cost Specialist

The role of the Project Cost Specialist is to analyze and calculate costs associated with materials, labor, production processes, and services. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with various departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and customer proposals to prepare detailed cost breakdowns
  • Engage with material and service suppliers for quotations and negotiate pricing
  • Maintain accurate records of outside process pricing in the ERP system and collaborate with suppliers on price-related issues
  • Prepare comprehensive cost analysis reports for management review
  • Develop and maintain cost databases, tracking changes in production costs and material prices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing and project-based environments
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
