Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in initiatives promoting safety, health, and wellbeing at the workplace
  • Learn industry best practice for preventative maintenance and breakdown of electrical equipment and systems
  • Develop problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Operate hand tools and other industry-specific tooling
  • Process automation and instrumentation
Key Requirements
  • School-based electrotechnology units (e.g., Certificate II - Electrotechnology)
  • Work experience or placements within an electrical environment
  • A genuine interest in learning the electrical trade
  • Basic knowledge of electrical industry terminology
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Strong mathematical and English attributes
  • Intermediate IT skills with Windows-based operating system
  • Australian citizenship or formal permanent residency
  • A driver's licence or Learner's Permit
