Job Title: Power BI Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to drive business growth through effective reporting and analytics.

This role involves implementing data solutions with significant business impact, including the enhancement and expansion of our Power BI service.

The successful candidate will have technical knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation, and support of Power BI data products.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes and develop relationships with stakeholders to support and expand our Power BI Service.

This role may involve direct supervision of staff and requires a broad experience or exposure to translating business requirements into appropriate data source and database system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement data solutions with significant business impact, including the enhancement and expansion of our Power BI service.
  • Explore long-term information technology requirements and support the adoption of new features of the Power BI service.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • Iterate existing governance mechanisms, and associated documentation, to be in alignment with our Data Governance Framework.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to support and expand our Power BI Service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation, and support of Power BI data products.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in the administration of the Power BI service and Microsoft tenancy administration.
  • Experience in database design, implementation, administration, normalization, and producing decision-useful report outputs.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundamental IT concepts, systems, platforms, tools, and technologies, programming methodology, hardware, software, and services.

Benefits:

PAY RATE: $97.90-$124.60/Hour + Super, depending on experience.

This is a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.

LOCATION: Winyu House, Gungahlin Place, Gungahlin
