
Operations Leader

The Operations Leader plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic alignment across a portfolio of Centres. This leadership position involves mentoring Centre Directors, coaching teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
This key role will support the development of high-performing teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive growth through innovative initiatives and effective centre operations management.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Leadership Development: Mentor Centre Directors, guide leadership development, and empower teams to achieve their full potential.
- Centre Growth: Identify opportunities for growth, develop and implement business plans, and monitor progress towards goals.
- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to Centre Directors, including budgeting, rostering, and reporting.
Alongside the General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of centres, each with its unique challenges and opportunities.
Requirements:- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Current Working with Children Check and Driver's Licence.
- At least 5 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, with experience in leadership or multi-site support.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, ACECQA standards, compliance, and early years legislation.
- Demonstrated experience coaching teams, improving operations, and supporting centre openings.
- A collaborative, empowering leadership style.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage rosters, budgets, and reporting.
- Deep understanding of quality frameworks and the ability to translate them into daily practice.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
