
Personalised Exercise Program Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our team, working 2 days per week from one of our clinics. We offer flexible scheduling based on your preference.
Job Responsibilities- Create personalized exercise programs for patients undergoing treatment and beyond.
- Show empathy towards the benefits and challenges of exercise during and after cancer treatment.
- Provide follow-up information to patients interested in exercise, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions and transition plans for patients based on their medical history and other relevant factors.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with relevant clinicians.
- Oversee the physical space of the exercise clinic.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with ESSA Accreditation.
- CPR and Current First Aid certification.
- Prior experience in exercise oncology (desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to create appropriate exercise programs for individuals with diverse physical capabilities.
- Genuine passion for patient care and the responsibilities of the role.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience communicating and reporting to healthcare professionals (desirable).
- Demonstrated understanding of behavior change principles and ability to apply them to guide patients towards engaging in exercise (desirable).
- Collaborate with a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.
