Emergency Medicine Registrar

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our dynamic team at Northern Beaches Hospital. As a key member of our clinical community, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial patient assessments and coordinate diagnosis, management, and early patient management in the Emergency Department.
- Manage a wide range of clinical presentations in adults, children, and neonates, providing medical care consistent with your level of experience.
- Communicate relevant information to medical practitioners, AMOs, and other team members.
- Work under supervision to develop your clinical skills and expertise.
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrate a minimum four years postgraduate clinical practice with at least two years of accredited ACEM training in Emergency Medicine.
- Have completed ACEM requirements to be registered as an Advanced Trainee in Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrate clinical competency and ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a salary relevant to your clinical experience, ranging from $111,606 to $140,051 per annum. You will also have access to a comprehensive primary and fellowship ACEM exam preparation program, an active research program, and regular education sessions.
