Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead environmental contamination and remediation projects.

As an Environmental Scientist, you will conduct field investigations, data management, and technical reporting for contaminated site assessments, provide field and office-based technical guidance, and collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis to support project delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate environmental risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Science (Environmental, Geology, Hydrogeology), backed by 5-10 years of experience in contamination assessment and remediation.
  • Proven skills in field work, including soil logging, site assessment, and monitoring.
  • Proficient in field sampling techniques and QA/QC protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in data management, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage site investigations and subcontractors.
  • Eligibility to be registered/chartered with relevant professional accreditation and/or body.
  • Current Defence security clearance or ability to apply for clearance.
