Administration Officer Stores Job Summary

The Administration Officer Stores role supports the stores operations and undertakes related administrative tasks at a correctional centre. This position involves interacting with prisoners while they work in the Stores unit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Process and monitor the receipt and acquittal of stock items.">
  • Reconcile deliveries and investigate any discrepancies.">
  • Maintain accurate records of inward and outward consignments.">
  • Contribute to quality control, hygiene, and security of stores and storage facilities.">
  • Process internal requisitions for stock items.">
  • Manage the centre's computerized stock control inventory and system.">
  • Assist with stocktaking and warehouse processes.">
  • Help with ordering and issuing corporate wardrobe.">
  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders and operate the prisoner canteen.">
  • Perform sales to prisoner services as required.">
  • Process prisoner orders and ensure timely distribution.">
  • Supervise prisoners working in the stores facility to ensure adherence to standard procedures.">
  • Assist with packing orders and maintain accurate stock and record keeping systems.">
  • Perform general administrative duties, including telephone and customer service.">
  • Participate in developing and implementing efficient work systems.">
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure filing systems.">
