Stores & Facilities Officer role at Osborne Richardson Australia (Queensland State Government client) based in Brisbane/Coopers Plains. The role focuses on goods in and goods out (packages, mail, gas bottles, samples) in a busy facility. The facilities aspect is administrative, assisting facilities and maintenance managers to lodge, schedule and track repair or upgrade works. May perform minor facility works to maintain workflow. Initial contract until late November with concurrent recruitment for permanent position.
Responsibilities- Manage goods in and goods out in a busy facility (packages, mail, gas bottles, samples) to support smooth operations.
- Assist facilities and maintenance managers to lodge, schedule and track repair or upgrade works; undertake minor facility works as needed.
- Maintain purchase orders, delivery instructions and equipment ledgers with strong attention to detail.
- Operate IT systems for goods in and out and maintain accurate records.
- Prior experience managing goods in/out in a busy facility.
- Fantastic attention to detail; experience with purchase orders, delivery instructions and equipment ledgers.
- Strong and positive work ethic; high degree of physical fitness.
- Demonstrated ability to use IT systems for goods in and out.
