Job Overview

BMT, a global consultancy in design, engineering, science, and risk management, seeks an Associate to support its finance team. This role will partner with business stakeholders to achieve real outcomes.

The Finance Analyst will provide ongoing support in all areas of project reporting, modelling, forecasting, and budgeting. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal, and the ability to work independently and autonomously.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business, preferably with a CPA or CA qualification, and at least 3 years of post-undergraduate experience. They should be proficient in data entry and management, as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the month-end project reporting process to provide objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact business decisions.
  • Develop financial models to support business initiatives and growth costings.
  • Partner with different business functions and internal stakeholders to provide financial modelling and assess business strategies.
  • Assist in assessing project performance with project managers and understanding drivers for over/under performance.
About You
  • Strong background in business with a CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it)
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated post-undergraduate experience
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Microsoft Excel
