Job Title: Data Center Security Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing contract employee deliverables, collaborating with security managers to devise security strategies, achieving financial targets, and improving operational security within our data centers.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with vendors involved in system repairs and provide access control management support to internal and external customers.
- Observe and report physical security system anomalies and security incidents, as well as policy breaches.
- Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force and oversee individual security vendor deliverables.
- Foster working relationships to educate stakeholders on false alarm reductions and extract metrics to analyze improvements.
- Verify that data center security programs meet defined global security standards and develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
- Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations and collaborate with security managers to write and implement security processes and procedures.
- 1+ year of experience working in a standards-based professional work environment.
- 1+ years of collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data.
- 1+ years of compiling reports.
- 1+ years of incident response and management experience.
