Transport Planning Project Specialist

This role is ideal for a seasoned transport planner who can contribute to the successful delivery of projects through the application of sound technical knowledge and skills. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and resolve project issues.

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, town planning or related fields are essential.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering or transport planning is required.
  • Sound knowledge of traffic engineering principles and experience with SIDRA Intersection and/or similar modelling packages is necessary.
  • Road Safety Audit and Traffic Impact Assessment experience would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of transport plans and strategies.
  • Support project delivery through undertaking transport analysis, designs and solutions for development and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams.

Requirements:
