Aboriginal Justice Specialist

This key position plays a vital part in driving systemic change within the justice system, focusing on delivering improved outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of Phase 5 of the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement, defining the strategic direction. They will lead and manage a project team to coordinate the development and implementation of the agreement.
A critical aspect of this role is providing high-quality engagement with the Aboriginal Justice Caucus and other key stakeholders, enabling self-determination and improved justice outcomes.
The Manager will also provide policy and program advice to support key stakeholders on justice priorities for Aboriginal Victorians.
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of public policy development and implementation, Cabinet processes and Government decision-making processes.
