Hurstville is an integrated cancer centre located at the Waratah Private Hospital, where our team delivers personalised care designed to help patients achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Unit Leader and contribute to building our multidisciplinary team during this exciting growth period.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Personally undertaking treatment responsibilities and associated duties
  • Promoting and contributing to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice
  • Ensuring the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures
  • Initiating and completing administration and documentation requirements in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining established patient care standards
  • Liaising with healthcare team members in the planning and delivery of patient services
  • Providing relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy
  • Demonstrating competence in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning, possibly rotating through all areas

We are interested in hearing from individuals who possess:

  • Technical competence in treatment, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services qualifications and experience
  • A Bachelor degree relevant to Radiation Therapy or a related field (Radiation Oncology Medical Physics)
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
