Ravenswood School for Girls, a leading Uniting Church day and boarding school for girls, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Learning Support Teacher to join its team. Located on Sydney's North Shore, the school offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme, as well as the PYP in the Junior School.
The successful candidate will provide educational support to classroom teachers and students from K-6, working within the Learning Enrichment Department. This part-time role comes with a 0.6 FTE load, spread across four days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and deliver learning support programs, incorporating modifications and adjustments to curriculum and assessments.
- Collaborate with the Learning Enrichment team and classroom teachers to deliver evidence-informed programs, utilizing a co-teaching support model of instruction.
- Develop Individual Learning Profiles and administer disability provisions for specified assessment tasks.
- Communicate effectively with parents and case-manage students identified with additional learning needs, in consultation with classroom teachers.
- Post-graduate qualifications in Inclusive Education or Special Education, or a willingness to pursue such qualifications.
