Job Title: Support Worker

">About This Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care services that cater to the unique needs of our participants.

">Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to participants with complex needs and behaviors of concern, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans, aligning with each participant's unique needs and goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, domestic assistance, and health monitoring, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with participants, families, and other stakeholders, building trust and rapport through effective communication and empathy.
">Requirements
  • Certificate III in Disability Services or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge in this field.
  • Previous experience in disability or community services sector, showcasing your skills and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children's Check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants.
  • First Aid/CPR certificate, enabling you to respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Valid Australian driver's license, facilitating your ability to transport participants safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.

  • Experience with diabetes management, enhancing your skills and confidence in supporting participants with complex needs.
  • Swimming confidence, allowing you to engage in water-based activities and promote physical activity with our participants.
