We're currently seeking a talented Teacher of Food Technology and TAS to join our team on a maternity leave cover basis. This role involves full-time teaching across Stages 4-6 Food Technology and Stage 4 Mandatory Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and deliver high-quality learning in Senior School TAS courses.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to implement 'Deep Learning' and 'Transformation by Design' pedagogies.
  • To deliver strategies for academic growth in relevant courses, as set by the Head of Department.
  • To provide pastoral care and support to students.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary-level qualification in TAS and Teaching.
  • Experience teaching across Stages 4-6 Food Technology and Stage 4 Mandatory Technology.
  • The ability to teach Stage 6 Food Technology, with experience in the HSC course an advantage.
  • A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
