About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Transition Coordinator to join our team at Penola Catholic College. As a Transition Coordinator, you will play a critical role in creating and implementing a transition program that supports the smooth transition of students from primary school to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a transition program that meets the needs of incoming students and their families
  • Organize and coordinate the Year 7 Orientation Day, Camp, and Information Nights
  • Coordinate transition from Year 7 into Year 8 and Year 8 into Year 9
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students to ensure a seamless transition
  • Provide support and guidance to students and their families to ensure a successful transition
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks
  • Proven ability to provide leadership and support to students and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
