Position Overview:

Kangan Institute is in search of a dedicated and collaborative Work Education Teacher to deliver training and evaluation for students enrolled in Work Education, Transition Education, and Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy programs. These courses are essential in providing students with mild intellectual disabilities a pathway into meaningful employment.


Key Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or having completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110), including competencies in designing and developing assessment tools and addressing Adult language, literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills.
  • Possession of relevant vocational qualifications.
  • A qualification in Special Education is preferred, or substantial experience in teaching and assessing students with high needs.
  • A strong background in teaching Literacy and Numeracy.
