We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.

Job Description:
  • Provide assistance and support to clients with varying disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, social activities, and light housekeeping duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality care, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing skills and knowledge in disability support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability or Individual Support, demonstrating a strong foundation in disability care.
  • Previous experience as a disability support worker, showcasing ability to work with diverse client groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing client needs and safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with participants with autism, mental health, or physical health challenges, demonstrating adaptability and empathy.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing disability support, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, accommodating client needs and schedules.
