Job Overview

As an Electrical Reliability Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability of our plant to meet required KPIs in a safe and cost-effective manner.

This is where your expertise comes in:

  • You will establish and drive maintenance practices in accordance with corporate procedures to ensure standardization of site maintenance and reporting.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring prompt resolution of plant and equipment breakdowns in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assisting in maintaining optimal levels of spare parts.
  • Maximizing line efficiency through effective planned maintenance programs.
  • Monitoring equipment failure rates, analyzing data, and driving root cause analysis & initiatives to continuously improve performance.
  • Reducing quarantine investigations through machinery faults.
  • Decreasing rework generation through machinery faults.
  • Leading cross-functional problem-solving & root cause analysis to enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Establishing collaborative working cultures across all shifts.
  • Providing coaching to direct electrical teams to ensure they are developing and have clear growth pathways for their career development.
Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, high-level interpersonal skills, and sound judgement.
  • Can manage multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities.
  • Has excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Is able to influence, manage, and challenge ideas and existing business processes.
  • Has experience in implementing systems and process changes.
  • Has experience in managing projects.
  • Has knowledge across the Microsoft office suite.
  • Has experience in managing maintenance operations utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Has comprehensive understanding of maintenance planning, including budget control.
  • Has electrical trade or engineering qualifications or equivalent professional experience in the field of engineering.
