A position exists for experienced Riggers to join our team and contribute to the development of vital infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking Intermediate and Advanced Riggers to assemble and install rigging gear, including ropes, cables, pulleys, and winches, to position structural steel and other heavy materials for the construction of transmission network infrastructure.

The successful candidates will be expected to operate in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install rigging gear to position structural steel and other heavy materials.
  • Operate brakes, winches, and associated rigging equipment to position steel units.
  • Assist overhead transmission lines personnel to string overhead transmission conductors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High Risk Work Licence (Rigger Intermediate and/or Advanced).
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the transmission line construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
