Empowering Volunteer Engagement

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our volunteer experience transformation across Australia. This opportunity will enable you to partner with business stakeholders, build strong relationships, and develop frameworks for a holistic volunteer experience.

As a key figure, you will be responsible for identifying strategies to facilitate volunteer engagement within the organization. You will build and manage relationships with branch leaders and presidents of regional volunteer branches, advocating for volunteer needs and overseeing branch management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative volunteer leadership programme initiatives and support volunteer leaders to achieve best results possible.
  • Implement frameworks to improve volunteer experiences and quality outcomes of volunteer programs.
  • Act as an advocate for volunteers, communicating needs and challenges to the broader business and promote a volunteer culture.

Requirements:

  • Experience in volunteer management is essential.
  • Strong stakeholder and project management experience is required.
  • Having worked in a similar role in the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial.
  • Strong experience in learning and development/facilitation would be ideal.
