Achieving Excellence in Water Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Design Manager to join our Brisbane office and contribute to the success of our water projects.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead technical teams, develop and deliver innovative solutions for key water and wastewater projects in Queensland. As a Principal Design Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary activities, ensuring integrated technical solutions, and delivering outputs on time and to the required quality.

  • Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead engineering projects and manage internal disciplines as well as subcontractors.
  • Support delivery teams during design and construction phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field, with CPEng and RPEQ (or ability to obtain).
  • At least 10 years of civil or process-mechanical water infrastructure engineering experience, including design and construction.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater services and the delivery environment.
